Sledding
We got about 6+ inches of snow overnight Firday. We decided, spare of the moment yesterday morning, that we wanted to take Thomas "sledding". John quickly ran to the store to see if there were any sleds left. He got one! We got all of Thomas' gear on and headed down the street to the park. There's a pretty good hill at one end of the field. Thomas is still a little too little to keep up with all the tubers so Einstein just pulled him around the field on the sled. HE LOVED IT! He wouldn't sit on the sled though. Instead he would just lay there and then slowly slide off the faster Einstein dragged him. He thought it was a riot!
You see, when snow is like this - all white and fluffy - it looks like fun.
Its when you have to get out and drive in it, or the snow gets dirty and gross, OR when its there for more than 2 days, then living in the south becomes more and more sensible to me.

looks like you had fun. I think no matter what you are doing, if Thomas is involved it is always going to be fun. He is the life of the party!!!

How fun! I put Maggie in her boots today and she didn't want to take them off.

We took our oldest two sledding and we all had a blast. My fav was when Hubby was laying on the sled head first with a child or two on his back! Glad it was him and not me...he got a face full of snow!
all i can say is AWESOME! sledding is just so much fun!!!

It looks like you had tons of fun! Maybe we'll be able to take all the kids next year, but this year we really didn't get out much. Oh well, I hate winter anyway!
