For memory's sake III
TT had his 2 year check up today.
Height: 35.5 inches 80 percentile
Weight: 29 lbs. 6 oz. 60 percentile
He got two shots and had his finger pricked for blood. He handled the shots okay and lost it like a lunatic over his finger. He showed every person we encountered during our errands today that he had a "boo boo on his finger." And he didn't let up until he felt acknowledged.
At two years his vocabulary is wonderful. He is stringing words together to make full sentences.
He is sleeping in a big boy bed. (Do you see my smile?? Cause it's from ear to ear tonight :))
He has become a picky eater. He won't do veggies or fruit and will have chicken only in the form of a chicken nugget. Doesn't do pasta either.
He likes to tease me with his potty before he has a "tubby." He sits about a million and one times on "go go" letting nothing out. The second he steps foot in the tub............"full stream ahead!" (We are not potty training by any means yet.)
He doesn't call Abby Babby any more.
He doesn't call Elmo Melmo any more. (This one really gets me.)
He still doesn't call Norman Norman. It's Doggie.
He does still call Amy MayMe.
He does still call Matt Mack even though he goes to school with a Matthew.
I love how he calls pumpkins "punkins."
He gives the best hugs and kisses and will randomly ask for them which absolutely makes me melt. He likes to ask for high fives too.
The past two years have flown by but I can't remember life before him :)
Ya know what, Mare? I'm a little sorry over the no more Babby and Melmo. May only comfort is that there is still MAmy!!! TT is turning into a big boy right before our very eyes...and congrats on the big boy bed; you did it!!! Why is it, though, that kids his age ALL seem to go through weird food obsessions and seem to only want to eat one thing? Well, since TT refuses to stay a little guy, it will be nice when Little Brother makes his entrance!
No pasta, I thought all kids lived for pasta.
PB calls the dog "dog" instead of his name too.
TT is getting to be a big boy too fast.
My kid is only an inch and a half shorter than yours and he's only 15 months!
PS - He weighs 4 lbs more than yours does, too.
He's a BEAST.
TT, on the other hand, is gorgeous!
omg. i'm gonna cry :( he is so big !!!!
