Ablposs

Internet, 500 points if you can tell me what "ablposs" is?

Keeping it simple here for memory's sake. Feel free to disregard this posting if you'd like!

We have a sitter now. The Meatball-formerly-known-as-Mr.-Mean-and-also-know-as-David is now sitting completely unassisted. He started this new trick about a week ago. We still put a pillow behind him because if he gets excited, he flings himself backwards.

He's also finally rolling from back to belly. The little bugger will only do it if there's something he wants in his sight and within reach.

He had his 6 month check up this past Friday. Yes, 6 months, ALREADY! His stats........19lbs 9oz and I forget his length and will have to check his little blue book!

So far allergies include......milk, soy, and greens. As in peas and green beans and we're not about to try any other greens at this point.

He's an eating machine! His little internal clock goes off at about 5:15pm every night for dinner. And God forbid you stop feeding him for a nanosecond, he'll scream until you resume! He's an inhaler! He also has fruit and cereal in the morning.

He's currently sleeping 7:30pm until 6am. He goes to bed with a smile and wakes up with a smile :)

His reflux is still out of control. He still pukes all the time!

And my other guy.......my first born known to you as Thomas Trouble..........he's going to be THREE in 2 months!

I can't take it. He seems so tall to me know! He has an opinion about everything. He wants to be Buzz Light Year for Halloween and wants to have a car themed birthday party. (Not Cars the movie. He still doesn't care for that one!)

He imitates every character he can. Including acting like certain animals. The other day he asked if he could go out in the yard and play "tiger." We said sure and watched him go out. A few minutes later he was on all fours in the yard stalking his prey. He cracks us up constantly! A few days before that, he was a Mama and I was "Mo-ga-li" (Mowgli). And he was calling me "honey" as I sometimes do to him!

He still calls his brother "Daydid" but his vocabulary is expanding every day!

He's in the preschool class at daycare but still refers to all of the other kids as the "big kids". He does not consider himself part of them even though he's been with them since June!

His new favorite thing to do every night...........have a tubby with "Daydid" and splash (kick their legs!)

I love these guys!

Applesauce seems too obvious, so I am going to go with albatross . . . especially since he is playing tiger in the backyard - why not imitate a large bird?!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the picture of them in the tub!

And yeah for Mr. Mean/Meatball's happiness - puke and all!

It was amazing how much Maggie's vocab expanded right around 20 mo, her speech improved a lot too.
That 6 mos went really fast!

Six months? Already!?

Is he being treated for the reflux? Jonathan had to have Prevacid, is still on it and we have an appointment with a GI specialist in November.
