How awesome is that?
We spent this past weekend at the lake again. What a great weekend to have been there! It was HOT out and there's no place better to be when it's HOT than at the lake!
Internet, Thomas Trouble has practically done a 360 when it comes to his relationship with water. On our first trip to the lake he was timid. He went in to his knees and then would only sit on us on a tube.
Two weeks later we got invited to a neighbors pool. And by pure surprise to me.....he didn't hesitate to jump right in! I was in shock! He saw his little buddy Aiden do it once and he was sold.
Next time up at the lake he was jumping in and swimming like I've never seen him do. It was so enjoyable to watch. The kid is a fish!
So because of this evolution with him, Einstein tries to get more and more out of him. It took some coaxing but Einstein finally got TT to let him "launch him" like this.........
As you can imagine Internet, he loved it! And when he loves it, you usually get a "That was SO awesome Dada!"
Yesterday he pushed it a little further and suggested that him and Thomas Trouble jump off the swim float TOGETHER. He scooped him up without letting him think about it too long and went for it.
TT's reaction........"Dada, that was NOT awesome!"
I guess everything right now is measured by awesomeness!
Also this weekend........Mr. Mean got in the lake!

that is totally awesome! my kid is weird sometimes when it comes to water. one day he loves it, the next he wants nothing to do with it. i hope he soon will turn into a fish. :) love the pictures too! looks like a great time @ the lake!
Awesome! Maggie did much better in the lake than in the pool.
That is pretty awesome! I am taking Dylan for his first swim lessons this week, and he is a little hesitant so far, so I would say TT is doing great!
My kid loves to say how awesome things are too! Looks like the boys had a blast for the most part...except for the "not awesome" parts, though. :-) Love that photo of TT leaping!
GO TT! That IS awesome! M.aren has become quite the little fish this summer, doing more than her brother is even willing to try! And way to go Mr. Mean - he is well on his way to becoming a little fish as well!
