Whatever it takes

Internet, I'm not really sure what to make of this other than IT PUT HIM RIGHT TO SLEEP.He cried for "my boots" for 30 minutes last night. And when you've already got a migraine, you're kind of willing to do whatever it takes to put a screaming child to sleep.

In this case, we gave him exactly what he wanted.

He was asleep within minutes of putting Thomas' boots back on.

Super cute! Mary, this is a classic example of picking your battles. Did it really matter that he had them? It made him happy right? Then really who cares. Good choice on your part! I made the mistake of saying no to something Bennett wanted, such a simple request and I was being stubborn. That led to 20 minutes of crying and in the end, I did what he wanted anyway. You live you learn, right?

Ha! Bless his little heart. If it makes you feel any better, his little girlfriend fell asleep on Christmas night clutching a broom - and there was NO taking it away from her!
