The Brothers

Internet, I momentarily melted last night........

Thomas Trouble: "David, wanna play this game with me?
Me: "Thomas, I don't know if he can."
Thomas Trouble: "I'll teach him. I'm his big brother."

I try not to put too much pressure on him regarding his role as "big brother." I try to tell Thomas that Mr. Mean learns from ALL of us and that he's always watching ALL of us. That said, when circumstances get a little out of control, and these two need intervening, I do use the "big brother" role reminding him that he has to lead by example.

I'd like to think it's working.
