Ding Dong

Internet, yesterday the door bell rang at 3:30pm.

I probably sound like a whack-a-doo for even documenting this but it is a FIRST.

I answered the door and there stood the nice sweet neighbor girl from down the street.

"Can Thomas and David come out to play?" she asked.

I'm bummed that unfortunately they weren't home to receive this request as I don't get them from school until after 4:00pm. They most certainly would have got a kick out of it.

But I'm thrilled for them that they've made a few new friends and I'm sure they'll be many more door bell rings in the near future :)
