Einstein's noggin and the door frame

For once, I'm glad to see the weekend's over!

Q. What do you get when you cross Einstein's melon and a door frame?

A. A trip to the ER!

Long story short, Einstein was chasing Norman down the stairs so that he wouldn't escape the house through the basement door. Einstein thought it was a good idea to jump the last few steps of the stair case however it was a very bad idea. He jumped into the top of the door frame slamming his head which cause him to then fall back on the stairs knocking himself out cold.

He was alone at the time and I talked to him about 30 min after it happened. He couldn't tell me how long he was out for and he was a little bit "out of it." So off to the ER we went. My parents met us at the hospital to take TT home. 4 hours later we got his CT results that every thing looked normal and he had a concussion with a nice big egg and cut on the top of his noggin.

Fast forward to yesterday afternoon/evening. We're just getting ready to sit down to dinner with friends and the ER doctor calls. Apparently the in house radiologist reviewed his head CT scan and thought he saw some bleeding and wanted Einstein back for another CT scan as soon as possible. So off to the ER we went again. 3 hours later results were normal. Thanks to Baer and his girlfriend Julie for staying with Thomas the Terrorist :)

It's kind of funny, when I was pregnant with Thomas Einstein had blood drawn and somehow the lab results got screwed up and they told us his kidneys were no good. Now I'm pregnant with Baby Boy No. 2 and he's head injured! These Doctors like to make this pregnant lady crazy!

Although looking at the next two pictures, I'd probably think that Einstein IS head injured.

Who in their right mind wears socks with flip flops?!?!
